In order to travel to the House of Hope in Act 3, after you've heard Raphael's offer at Sharess' Caress, you're going to need to do a few things. First off, head to the Devil's Fee, directly north of the Lower City Central Wall waypoint—it's easy to recognise this house as there are little devil symbols on the pillars outside. Thankfully, there’s a Diabloist in Baldur’s Gate known as Helsik, and you can meet them in the Lower Cities to the northwest of Basilisk Gate. The House of Hope is a place with a lot of valuable items inside of it. Most important is the Orphic Hammer, which you can use to free Hope, whom the house is named for, and potentially the Githyanki prince Orpheus if you feel like betraying the Emperor. Plus, if you were foolish enough to enter a contract with Raphael, you can find it and destroy it here to free yourself.
If you’re looking for the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength as requested by Helsik, you’ll find those in the Archives along with the Orphic Hammer. If you pass a perception check, you’ll be able to disarm the display the gauntlets are sitting on, and then you can safely steal them as long as the archivist isn’t looking your way. Or you can wait until you steal the Orphic Hammer and grab them on your way out. Helsik will then provide the player with the Grimoire Bound in Imp Skin, a Ritual Pouch containing the required items, and instructions on how to perform the ritual itself.
